gilt-edged field plate armor with spike-tipped courdieres
Look: Gilding adorns the edges of each piece of steel, outlining the construction with a soft golden gleam. Elaborate scalloped coudieres, or elbow-guards, extend beyond the joint to form vicious steel spikes, while similar deadly decorative touches at the knees result in steel spikes positioned to jab a neighbor's horse in a melee.
