Social Outrage and Gwethdesuans · on 2/3/2011 9:33:57 PM 64
The following changes have been made to gwethdesuans:

1) Necromancers at the Suspicious level of Social Outrage (a previously unused state between no outrage penalties and Perverse) or higher will gain additional SO for successfully using Gwethdesuans. This extra SO is a fraction of your existing outrage, so that the Perverse gains more outrage for the action than someone who just barely qualifies for the penalty.

2) Anyone who labors under temporary social penalties (for being falsely accused of necromancy, or being a Necromancer supporter currently on the outs) will have the duration of the penalties increased every time they successfully use a gwethdesuan.

These changes apply specifically to using the public channels of the gwethdesuans. Thoughtcasts, albredine rings, and other, more exotic forms of private communication do not trigger this penalty.

This change is live in all versions of the game.
