Mechanical Spider Parts
Gnome workmen are trying to recover mechanical parts to repair the Hollow Eve spider. They exchange parts that you find for tickets, which can be redeemed for prizes at future Hollow Eve festivals.

*This chart lists the approximate values that are given by the Gnome workman when you ask him about parts. The actual ticket values were not consistent at first but seem to be consistent now. Solomon has stated that "the adjective has no impact" on ticket values. We have ruled out the order in which the parts were turned in.
Finding Parts
Various mechanical parts can be found in the treasure system on any creature that normally drops items. Any of the LOOT options will still allow parts to be found, with the following exceptions:
- LOOT BOXES (although the parts still have a chance to spawn in the boxes themselves)
- LOOT EQUIPMENT
"[Creature] Level has zero to do with [the odds of finding spider parts]. We made some other adjustments a couple hours ago. The turn-in rate for items as increased noticeably, so you might move to another creature if you haven't seen anything drop after that update." --Solomon
Forging Parts
On October 19, 2011, parts instructions were released in Prime. Parts are sold at forging societies (except in Zoluren) and at the crash site. There are limits to how many instructions you can buy. Ticket reward appears to be based off Quality (Master Crafted being best of course) and Hardness of the material used. Quality looks to be the more important factor so aim for easier to work items if the difficulty is near your limit.
- I can confirm that durability is most the most important factor. A master-crafted platinum bolt was worth 19 tickets. A master crafted mid steel bolt was worth 69 tickets, and a master crafted covellite spangleflange was worth 670 tickets. --Hithrael 18:36, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
Exchanging Parts for Tickets
GIVE [PART] TO WORKMAN to exchange it for tickets. The first person to turn in each type of part gets a few bonus tickets. Premium subscribers also get a few extra tickets for any part turned in (30% of base tickets for the fancy pieces, 10% for the nuts, gears, and bolts).
Tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and are tracked on a per character basis, so make sure that you use the right character to exchange parts for tickets.
Premium players get an extra 10% for the parts that they turn in.
There is at least one gnome workman in every province.

Descriptions of Parts
- nut: Sorta like a a warblet, but smaller. I'll mark you down for about 100 tickets if you find me one of those.
- bolt: Yep, bolts. A bunch of them fell out just after the nuts, but before the gears. I'll add around 100 tickets for each one you find.
- gear: Yeah, round with griblets on the outside. I'll mark you down for about 100 tickets if you find me one of those.
- spangleflange: If a spangleflange flew off and hit you in the head, you still wouldn't know what it was. Either way, I'm willing to give up around 1000 tickets if you have one for me.
- rackensprocket: No, it's pronounced rackensprocket. I'll mark down about 1000 tickets in your name for one of those.
- flarmencrank: It's designed with Nedeplunk's golden ratio, and has a torque to weight rating... Bah! It's shiny, says Flarmencrank on the side, and is worth about 1000 tickets to you.
- glarmencoupler: Ahh, when I hold a glarmencoupler I still marvel at the ingenuity of gnomish craftmen. Terribly hard to reproduce without a proper workshop so I'll be happy to credit you with around 2000 tickets if you have one of those.
