This is a consolidated page that describes the mechanics of an item with many cosmetic variations, such as Hollow Eve gifts. Please document functionality, verbs, and other important information here instead of posting it on individual item pages. This ensures that all of the documentation is on one page instead of having it scattered across multiple pages; it also simplifies collaboration.

Prayer mats or prayer rugs are portable rugs that can act as portable altars for use in some of the Cleric rituals.
For the extended ritual purpose, the STUDY of the item must provide the line "For ritual purposes, you may also KISS, DANCE or POUR holy wine on the prayer mat when it is unfolded." Mats without this line are simply fluff. Please note: Only clerics are able to see any additional verbs for these items.
Syntax
Roll and unroll utilize the at feet inventory slot.
- ROLL MAT/RUG: Folds up your prayer mat/rug for carrying.
- Starting at one end of your prayer mat you carefully roll it into a tight package.
- UNROLL MAT/RUG: Unfolds your prayer mat/rug for use.
- With a flick of the wrist you unroll your prayer mat.
Rituals
- KISS <MAT/RUG>
- POUR <HOLY WINE> <ON> <MAT/RUG>
- WAVE INCENSE AT <MAT/RUG> (requires lit incense)
- DANCE <MAT/RUG> X3
Each of these rituals will garner devotion. Prayer mat interaction rituals do not require a consecrated room.
In naturally occurring consecrated rooms and rooms where the Meraud commune is active a cleric can gain devotion for DANCE <MAT/RUG> as well as generic DANCE.

Please note: Due to having to manually set them, not all of the listed items are necessarily functioning altars. If you discover one on the list is not, please remove the "cleric style" tag from them.
