[Origami Boutique]
A tasteful, pale blue carpet and matching silk walls give this tent an open, airy feel. Lighting is provided by a set of silver filigree lamps set most securely on the tent poles. Fire is, understandably, a serious concern here. You also see some glass shelves with some stuff on it, some wooden bins, a wooden rack, a wooden table with some stuff on it, a glass-sided bookcase, a finely lettered sign on a carved oak stand, a large placard, a low counter with some stuff on it, and a bucket of viscous gloop.
Obvious exits: out.
A sign reads:
The management recommends, as a minimum beginner's kit, a primer, a case, and a supply of plain paper for practicing. Note that a piece of finished origami placed into anything but an origami case will likely be crushed.
A large placard reads:
The table holds envelopes of plain origami paper and the counter holds envelopes of multi-colored origami paper. There are four sizes of envelopes available: 10 sheets, 25 sheets, 50 sheets and 100 sheets.
On the glass shelves you see...
|
- a varnished elm origami case
1750 Kronars
The case is well made out of fine-grained elm, varnished with a medium gold colored resin that perfectly brings out the lines and swirls in the wood.
- a leather origami case
1000 Kronars
The leather origami case is small and rigid, with sturdy buckles to keep it closed, and a pair of wide loops for fastening it to a belt. It's made of boiled leather, less than armor grade but still tough enough to protect delicate origami from all but the most vigorous jolting.
