Wildlace at a Glance
Material Type Fabric, Silks
Colors Various
Rarity Quest-Only
Cultural Relevance
Required for Alterations Yes (additional rules)

Unlike conventional lace, wildlace is not crocheted, knitted, hand-knotted, or even stiffened and stitched. Instead, a special type of spider spins each piece in whole, ensuring that all are unique. Wildlace can be authenticated by looking for the small, but extremely durable, crystalline droplets left by the spiders at each joining point in the lace’s pattern. Wildlace is never dyed, but is naturally tinted in a wide variety of colors during its creation.

Wildlace is a Hollow Eve exclusive material that premiered at Hollow Eve Festival 425 (2017).

Alteration Rules

This material is required for alterations.

  • It cannot be dyed, and must retain original pattern and color.
  • Wildlace is a delicate material and, as such, it is unsuitable for use on armor.
  • Strongly suggested that Necromancers – ESPECIALLY Perverse Necromancers – do not ask for this, at least directly (Necro's can't join the list, ask a friend!)
