You see Loan Shark Lasaia Asaran'Halili, Saucy Sailor of the Order of the Iron Circle, an Elven Trader.
She has a shimmering opalescent powder highlighting the contours of her face with an assortment of short, thin scars criss-crossing the right cheek, pointed ears, some night-black kohl flawlessly applied to accentuate her star-flecked royal purple eyes and a small nose. Her crystalline hair is calf length and glossy, and is worn tied back in a thick rope-like column bound by a strand of gold coins swirled with glittery jewels.
She has pearlescent skin contoured with glittering swipes of translucent crystal dust and a sylphlike figure.
She is statuesque for an Elf.
Some abyssal black diacan sharks gleaming with a watery iridescence float lazily around her waist, glowing with a lustrous sheen against her skin.
A series of savagely sharp shark teeth impales her left ear, the needle-like tips piercing the cartilage from the upper helix to the lobe.
You have a tattoo of two sharks circling one another nose to tail on your shoulder.
She is wearing a soft hair wrap beaded with a mosaic of marine-hued seaglass, a sharkskin eyepatch intricately tooled with the symbol of the Mir, a handsome sunken leather longcoat secured with polished brinewood toggles, a grey double-breasted Velakan linen jacket with sharkskin lapels, an exquisitely tailored shirt composed of black seasilk, a wide brinewood armcuff inlaid with a cobalt mosaic of Drogor's Wrath sapphires, some hand claws made of rows of serrated sharkteeth, a dark loimic oath ring bisected by a scoundrel's diamond falling star, a black seasilk sailor's sash with a boarding axe hanging from it, some form-fitting sharkskin pants laced with black leather and a pair of crimson seasilk boots embroidered with writhing tentacles.
Lasaia's true eye color is black-limned mazarine. She uses a magical ring to create the illusion of a royal purple hue.
She was born with dark hair and skin. Her features evolved after undergoing the Negotiants' surgery to implant avtalia crystals inside her body, and continued to change over time due to excessive exposure to starlight.
Background
Birthplace: Zaldi Taipa
Clan of Origin: Wind
Current Affiliation: Celestial
Citizenship: Ratha
Lasaia Asaran'Halili (Ilithic for Tranquil Sea Mistress) was not the name she was given at birth. Her Chui'lana Clan name is Amets Gul (Dream Flower).
Boutique
[In the Knight's Hall of the Riverhaven Plaza, Warrior Room]
Central in the room, a life-sized carved wooden warhorse stands rearing on a woven burgundy runner outlined in brass stanchions with velvet covered ropes. The steed is fully bedecked in a suit of polished plate, tassels of gold threads hanging from its harness and a brass-riveted scabbard hanging beside the black leather saddle. Paintings of stallions in battle are hung above high-backed gilded chairs placed near the entrances to the various shops. You see a smooth mammoth tusk archway leading to 'Lasaia's Ferda Sea Fashions'.
[Lasaia's Ferda Sea Fashions, Sales Floor]
A scuffed sales counter crafted from driftwood sits prominently in the back of the shop, providing a surface for merchant and customer to haggle or exchange goods for coin. A knotted flax cargo net and some polished scrimshaw shelves hang on the pale brinewood walls with carved wave-covered trim, with a net-wrapped driftwood trunk with rusted hinges along the edges of the room. A steel trestle table inlaid with half-melted bronze coins and a cast-off vintner's barrel with burnished copper banding sit on the scuffed wooden floor. You also see a bucket of viscous gloop, a Riverhaven Warden and an archway of woven palm fronds tied with frayed ropes.
(The Hired Help)
[Lasaia's Ferda Sea Fashions, Back Room]
The pale brinewood walls with carved wave-covered trim of the back room are unadorned, and the scuffed wooden floor is similarly devoid of all but the most basic furniture. Sheafs of paper sit in neat piles atop a low shelf along the back. You also see a black oak armoir, a black oak bar with several things on it, a black oak buffet with several things on it, a wooden storage cabinet with a thick ledger on it and an archway of woven palm fronds tied with frayed ropes.
Wheels
[Lasaia's Caravan, Exterior]
Lasaia owns a smokewood caravan shaped like a whiskey barrel bound with audrualm hoops. Large rivets secure bluish-grey hoops binding the wooden slats of the caravan together. Complete with a oversized spigot for a doorknob, the whole assembly rides atop laminated wheels resembling barrel lids. A metal plate attached to the back of the caravan reads "There's a Party Inside!".
[Lasaia's Caravan, Interior]
A plush bedroll rests along one wall with a artificial fire pit nearby. Though carved of wood, the fire pit has been cleverly painted to reveal the surrounding stones and even brightly painted flames along the firewood. The walls and ceiling are the color of the night sky with small embedded crystals resembling stars. You also see a sturdy oak door with a brass-framed peephole, a large bottle with a complex port scene inside, a sprawling map depicting the five provinces and a spun glitter curtain studded with twinkling crystals.
Estates
[Riverhaven Manor, Magnolia Corner, Blossom Circle]
A raised box of growing herbs and vegetables sits near a kitchen doorway of one of the homes. Dressed in top hat and waistcoat, a scarecrow looks more inviting than fearful as it stands sentinel over the garden. Occasionally, the aroma of roasted chicken wafts into the area from just around the bend.
You also see a stately red brick hall with a shiny copper distillery pot in the back.
[Ratha Manor, Shh'o'kumu Terrace, Zsikiel Lane]
A delightful lane is paved in perfectly matched cobbles, and bordered by low whitewashed fencing and sculpted hedges. Draping willows form an arch over the roadway. You also see an elegant red brick manor sitting behind terraces of red-bricked seasonal gardens.
Animals
Lasaia keeps after a skunk in her home that she thinks is a housecat, an octo-hog, a bird-pig, a rashy Rathan sewer monkey and one Akhaal horse named Haizel.

Artwork
Lasaia pulls some sheets of paper from inside a jumbled memory book filled with keepsakes and drawings.
The paper is painted with: a vision of Violet and Leaf costumed as Wood and Flame. The pair faces each other, hands intertwined, exchanging a soulful look. A cloaked Prince Joy admires them from the background, piercing eyes gazing out from beneath the hem of his hood. The Prince is depicted to have a mountainous shadow, mismatched from his build as if it were not his own. Circus performers, clowns, and stagehands loiter about the throuple. Among those that stand out - a ringmistress in a fancy pants top hat, three flamboyant peacocks one of which is holding a sword, a couple of ordinarily dressed folks in the midst of a popcorn food fight, a tall Elf in white standing in a puddle of paint, a short young bard in a leotard holding a giant hoop, and a Gnome being chased by a ferocious kitten. The piece is titled ~Run Away With Us~ along the bottom in an elegant script.
The paper is painted with: The crew of the Open Grave. Scanning the piece, you see an elderly Elothean woman. A mischievous smirk contradicts her matronly nightgown as one hand twirls a cob of corn with sickly green kernels. Her grandson, Senthic, lies curled at her feet. A sleepy sea-blue peeper peers from a pirate mask with an eyepatch. Nearby, Shaylynne is sprawled awkwardly with a nauseated pallor despite donning a fancy dress. Outfitted in wintry apparel stands Lasaia downing a shot of something apparently strong with the Elothean's daughter, and hard to tell who is leaning on who while the two cast side-eyed glances at Kamisama. No, it's not your imagination that he is only wearing a red sweater, a sprig of mistletoe, a sock, and a rash. Last but definitely not least, is Captain Karturis, cheeks puffed out over his beard, holding a mint-hued bottle, and spraying a fine mist over everyone else's head like a grand fountain. The page is titled ~ A Chris' Mass Story ~
