The rugged and arid Gemfire Mountains surround the [[Velaka Desert]]. The mountains were first settled by Dwarven explorers from [[Kwarlog]], whereupon they established the now Therengian-controled town of [[Hvaral]]. The mountains are jagged, and suffer from the same desert heat as Velaka. |
