You can use the Fill command to move all gems in a container into the gem pouch, up to the Gem Pouch's limit of 70.
Normally the gems inside the Gem Pouch count towards the 500 item limit, but the TIE verb may be used to reduce the pouch and gems inside to 1 item. However, only high level Traders may UNTIE pouches, so it's usually best not to tie pouches containing gems you do not wish to sell.
