Description: | Performing this ritual will prepare the corpse of a creature to become one of the Risen
Effect: | Prepares a corpse to become a CFB zombie.
Messaging: | You kneel over the <creature>'s corpse and carefully carve a ritual design across a handspan of its body. You stand up satisfied that you have prepared it to arise as one of the undead. |
Notes
- Despite the official description, this ritual is not used with long-term Risen.
- The ARISE ritual uses unholy symbols to prepare a corpse to be animated (via the Call from Beyond spell) into one of the undead. The corpse in question must have already had the Preserve ritual performed upon it.
- This ritual generates the largest amount of Divine Outrage of any Thanatological ritual.
