Casting Cap: | 66 | |
Valid Spell Target: | One weapon/shield in your hands (cannot be worn or sheathed)
Description: | The Bond Weapon spell temporarily enables a weapon or shield to return to your hand on its own, if dropped, stolen or sheathed.
Example Messaging: | You gesture at a golden tasseled spear. Tendrils of translucent white writhe around your tasseled spear. You sense a new bond forged between you and your tasseled spear. Your tassled spear leaps back into your right hand! You sense the Bond Weapon spell fade from a golden tassled spear. |
Restrictions
Paladins must have a minimum soul state to cast this spell.
Notes
- RELEASE BOND while the bonded weapon/shield is in your hands to prematurely end the spell.
- Very useful when combined with thrown weapons. Bond weapon WILL return your thrown weapon even if it becomes lodged.
- Useful when facing creatures who steal your weapons or knock them out of your hands often
- The weapon/shield will not leap back into your hands if they are full or if the weapon/shield is worn
- Avoid having this spell active in places that require your hands to be free unless the bonded weapon/shield is worn (such as crossing the rope bridge (Map 34))
- Avoid tying a bonded weapon to one of the tieable rucksacks from the Boar Clan Ranger canteen while the spell is active due to a nasty bug.
- Maximum duration is 65 minutes.
