Usage
Consumable item that will allow you to change the mana amount a runic tattoo uses when INVOKEed.
You TURN it to the % of max cap you want, and APPLY it to your tattoo or inkpot. It's single use.
Verbs
- You believe you could TURN DIAL TO # to change the percentage an iridescent inkpot-shaped dial etched with esoteric runes will apply to an inkpot or a tattoo.
- You believe you could APPLY DIAL TO INKPOT or TATTOO to change the percentage of mana at which the spell will prepare.
- TURN:
- TURN DIAL TO 0
- You must specify a percentage between 1 and 100.
- TURN DIAL TO 50
- You turn your inkpot-shaped dial to 50 percent.
- APPLY DIAL TO INKPOT
- You begin to press your inkpot-shaped dial up against your obsidian inkpot, but hestitate.
- This will change your obsidian inkpot to prepare its spell at 25 percent, and destroy an iridescent inkpot-shaped dial etched with esoteric runes. If you're sure you want to do that, repeat this command within 10 seconds.
- APPLY DIAL TO INKPOT
- You press your inkpot-shaped dial up against your obsidian inkpot, and a blinding white flash envelops both! As you regain your vision, you find that a fractured obsidian inkpot is subtly changed, and an iridescent inkpot-shaped dial etched with esoteric runes has vanished.
- APPLY DIAL TO TATTOO
- (If dial is set to the same percentage as the target tattoo/inkpot.)
- You press your inkpot-shaped dial up against your unique tattoo, but with nothing to change, the inkpot-shaped dial's magic fails to activate.
