The SPECULATE command is used to activate a variety of Trader abilities.
Use ASK <GUILDLEADER> ABOUT SKILL to learn speculates from the appropriate guildleader listed below.
Speculate Coin
- Learned from Guildleader Kworlin in Muspar'i at 12th circle
- Stun ability
- Based on and teaches Debilitation
- Costs 1 gold Lirum to learn this ability
- Contested ability (Finesse vs Reflex)
Syntax and Messaging:
- SPECULATE COIN <PERSON>
- You snap a <metal> coin at <person>!
- Whiff! The <metal> coin sails by <person> and is lost.
- <Trader> snaps a <metal> coin at you!
- You duck out of the way of the speeding <metal> coin!
- <Trader> snaps a gold coin at <person>!
- <Person> ducks out of the way!
- You snap a <metal> coin at <person>!
- A direct hit! The <metal> coin bounces away and is lost.
- <Person> is stunned!
- <Trader> snaps a <metal> coin at you!
