Just a question, but if these firecat skins aren't tannable, which ones are? (for the firecat leathers)?--Naeya (talk) 09:25, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

Muscular Firecats. The young ones give some sort of milktooth I think, and the supple cats give a flint-tipped claw. Only the musculars give actual skins.

So just to be clear, these cats are *not* huntable alone? Meaning, there is nowhere they spawn that I can hunt them without getting shredded by something else? --drtyprior 21:51, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Skeleton's Crook will spawn just young ones, along with Sprites and Maidens. Gate area doesn't mix Young with Supple. Pretty much the only area that will spawn Supples with Young is the Firecat area in Hiba. -Glimmereyes 01:19, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Looks like the only viable skinning option for tier 2 hunting, according to the hunting guide, is the Young Trolls - if I wanted to stay in Hib for all my character's training, that is. Do you know if the young firecats are only in a premium area, or if the ones in the premium area are solo? --drtyprior 05:21, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
