Moonsilk is a full fabric, not an individual thread. Moonsilk is a very pale blue silk with an opalescent sheen, stone-washed to give it a heavy texture and a slight nap. It is normally pale blue but can now also be red, black, or silvery.

This is no longer a rare material.
