Bvarn
Status: Alive
Race: Dwarf
Gender: Male
Location: Great Salt Road (Ranik Map 122)
Relatives: Gert (wife), Dagreth (brother)

Description

Tall for a Dwarf, Bvarn's bristly beard and mustache tangle in knots of grey-flecked russet. Eyes of twinkling blue occasionally grow somber, as if his mind has wandered to a distant memory. Dressed in overalls and work boots that have seen better days, Bvarn seems the picture of rough and tumble mountain man but for the single white aster peeping from his overall pocket.

Conversations

  • ALE: Bvarn's eyes gleam with pleasure. "Me own stock, that! I make it meself. The temperature outside in that keg there keeps it just right."
  • ASTERS: Gazing at the flowers wistfully, Bvarn comments, "My Gert loved them. I keep them for her."
  • FORFEDHDAR: Bvarn says, "Forfedhdar is where the heart is."
  • GERT: Bvarn tugs at his mustache, his eyes somber. "She was me wife. She took good care of me when she was alive. She was always taking care of things, for as long as she was able. Even me brother couldn't help her, though." Bvarn hefts a sigh and gazes forlornly at his boots.
  • KEG: Bvarn hands you a mug of ale. "Here ya go!"
  • MINE: Bvarn tugs at his beard and says, "No, no....no mining being done much lately. I think folks still remember Dabrushin. That killed a lot of fine folk, and scared a lot more of 'em. Maybe someday they'll go back in there."
  • ROAD: "I keep it swept and fix the broken stones when I see them. The tree roots knock 'em around a bit, but I think we do a good job with them. You didn't trip over anything, I hope?"
