READ *In Praise of the Masters of Craft and Wealth*
by Perre Thorfowle
In the ring of the hammer we hear your Voice
Steel upon steel in the heat of the forge
Strength in our weapons and armor you grant
In our hands' work we see your designs
The jeweler and cobbler are in your eye
The Raven Lord, Kertigen, I praise with my chant.

The glint of a gem in the light of the sun
The jingle of coins from a battle hard won
We receive your blessings in reward for our work
To keep our wealth safe from the hands of a thief
And make our steel strong in battle's heat
We pray to you, Kertigen, the Father of Dwarves.

To Divyaush the merry, we send up our thanks
And pray for your help in our toils this day
Send your Welkins to help in our tasks
Guide our hands to forge blades true
And work our crafts well the long day through
Your guidance we seek, your blessing we ask.

We praise you for blessing us with gifts of wealth
And good fortune in working our crafts
Praise from the children, who love you so dear
Praise from the craftsmen who work with their hands
Praise from the Traders with gems in their pouch
We give you our thanks, and pray that you hear.

Zachriedek the cruel, the dark of the Three
We send up our prayers, and we beseech thee
Spare us your pets, your favored gremlins
While in battle, or en route to trade
Be not the crack to make our tools break
Though we humbly accept the toll you take.
