On second thought this would best be accomplished by merging this content into Outdoorsmanship. Can't be done quickly so I have to punt on it for tonight. --Farman 03:50, 22 January 2013 (UTC) |

I removed the obsolete tag since this article is about the foraging ability itself, not the skill, and thus the information is still completely valid. |

Since my previous comment, I now think the article should stay free-standing in order to relieve article-size pressure on Outdoorsmanship. IMO this would be a better place for expansion on technical info regarding foraging eg. putting in the ranked foraging lists etc. --Farman 07:27, 10 February 2013 (UTC) |

:Makes sense. I marked it Obsolete because I basically moved most of the information over to Outdoorsmanship in some form or fashion as it really just pertained to training Foraging Skill, not so much the technical aspects of foraging. If we want to expand it to include all the foraging stuff, though, thats awesome. I'll go through and swap out the skill references, mark it with an UpdateDR3 tag. --Leito 22:00, 10 February 2013 (UTC) |

::On second thought, should we just remove the training section? We're not exactly training Foraging anymore, we're training Outdoorsmanship. marked with the tag in either case, as a reminder to get to it. --Leito 22:03, 10 February 2013 (UTC) |

I think that section is entirely appropriate in this article so long as the focus is on ways to use foraging to train your skills. Especially since we use "forage" and not "outdoorsmanship" to train it. |

I also don't mind a bit of overlap between articles if it helps people find useful information quickly, so long as the duplication doesn't go too far. The various articles dealing with foraging though could definitely stand some consolidation. eg. I just re-discovered Foraging Compendium... maybe that should get folded into this article with a redirect from that title. --Farman 19:44, 11 February 2013 (UTC) |

move from Foraging skill
Moved here since Foraging skill has been merged into Outdoorsmanship. --Farman 03:34, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
