how to handle combined/deprecated skill articles when 3.0 comes out
DR 3.0 has not been released into prime yet so as of this writing, Heavy Edged skill is a live skill, thus IMO its article should stay un-redirected.
This does raise the question of what the wiki-wide approach should be on how to handle all the skill articles that will become obsolete when 3.0 is actually launched. I personally think the way to go is, leave the old skill articles in place with prominent links to the new skills. This question will affect a lot of articles so I think I will start a discussion in the town green about it (link to follow).
Anyway IMO just overwriting the old articles with redirects destroys information about obsolete systems and IMO the goal of any wiki should rather be to preserve information. --Farman 17:51, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
