Klusarlaik is one of Lyras's commanders. Her name means "dead" in Rakash and was given to her after death. Her true name is unknown, though adventurers bestowed her "lucid" side with the name Dzive, which means "life" in Rakash.
Certain Moon Mages experienced unique visions of her memories and experiences before and after her undeath. According to these visions, in life Klusarlaik was apparently a well-off Rakash woman when Lyras invaded and murdered her. She was turned into a Risen and forced to murder her pack-mates, including her own children. Many of the possessions she retained in undeath seemed to have great sentimental value, in particular an anklet which bore the inscription "For my beloved."
Though according to her she is a soulless Risen and "little more than a puppet" that cannot fully control herself, remnants of her original mind and personality remained in the shell Lyras created, causing her to experience occasional moments of lucidity (usually after death) during which she revealed clues about Lyras's plans and how she might be stopped.
On 30 Uthmor 394, Klusarlaik was killed in battle for the final time, saying, "I am abandoned. I suppose that the Devourer has grown tired of my defiance." Her final words were, "I will rest now, if it is possible. Stop Lyras, if you can."
Appearance
You see Recreant Klusarlaik, an Undead Rakash.
Nearly half her snout is crudely slashed off along with most of her throat, exposing a jaw filled with razor-sharp fangs. Two dead white eyes stare out blankly from beneath a mask of disheveled fur, and her long white hair is matted and tangled, filled with sticks and leaves. The cruelties of undeath have rendered her hideous and misshapen, her lithe figure twisted and rotting.
Klusarlaik looks like she was fairly young for a Rakash when she died.
She is wearing a pair of diamond earrings in tarnished silver settings, a tarnished silver necklace depicting a vine of curling ivy leaves, a leather backpack, a tattered nightsilk gown edged in intricate ivy needlework, a blackened steel shield emblazoned with an emblem depicting a silver wolf, a twisted platinum bracelet set sporatically with delicate sky opals, some rusted mail gloves accented at the wrists with silver ringlets, a gilded leather sheath decorated with intricate patterns of swirling smoke, a tarnished silver anklet strung with crystal teardrops in platinum settings and a pair of tattered slippers edged in faded silver ivy needlework.

Those adventurers who were present prayed for her and succored her during her final moments. Her final words were, "I will rest now, if it is possible. Stop Lyras, if you can."
Some time before this occurred, Moon Mages received a vision (from Klusarlaik's perspective) of her impending release:
- Your vision shifts, and you find yourself staring out at the walls of a city, an army of undead Rakash at your command. A band of adventurers wielding fire and magic burns your flesh and bone while you slaughter them with foul necromancy. Swords, arrows and magic pierce your flesh, striking you down and giving you a short respite.
