MediaWiki Update November 2008

I will be updating the MediaWiki version that we use here at Elanthipedia on Monday, November 3rd starting at 10am EST. The wiki will be unavailable for as long as it takes (no more than a few hours) to get the software upgraded from the current version (1.11.2) to the newest release 1.13.2. This hopefully will fix some of the issues we've been having with Semantic Media Wiki. I will be updating all our extensions and removing any extraneous ones at that time as well. Any edits attempted after 10am EST on Monday will be lost, as I will be taking a backup of the database at that time.

This upgrade should go smoothly and not interrupt your use of Elanthipedia for more time than is necessary. I know the timing is horrible with the fest going on, but I will have the wiki back available as soon as I can. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that this might cause.
