colossal silversteel lance with an elaborate stormfire topaz inlay
Look: Running a jagged course upon the shaft, the meticulously crafted steely blue-grey keraunograph inlay complements the overall stormy aesthetic of the design. A single tightly braided tassel of like-color stormsilk dangles from the bottom of the haft and appears to crackle with electricity when light catches it.

a Tier 2/Grade 3 electric flare (steel-blue color; 500-1000 Arcana to reliably activate) with a bonus to process chance. The lance is also a 'wind weapon' and can be WAVE'd once every RL hour in order to clear all critters from a room.

You can also toss the lance for fluff messaging:

You take the silversteel lance by its base and casually toss it into the air, sending it flipping end over end.

The air stirs faintly in its wake.

RECALL:

Great legends are whispered about the silversteel lance and its abilities. Many of the tales involve a wandering tribe of nomads with an affinity for wind-related magics. During their travels, they frequently passed through hostile lands infested with hordes of winged beasts.

The monsters harassed the nomads and dwindled their numbers until only five remained. After a long summer night spent hiding within a cave, the nomads resolved to make one final stand against the awaiting creatures.

Each drew their weapons and uttered prayers to Everild and Meraud to fuel their resolve and bolster their spells. As they concluded, a powerful gale roared through the cave, knocking them to the ground and taking up their weapons into a swirling vortex of gleaming death.

The whirlwind exited the cave, leaving the nomads in awe of the destruction the blades made as they ripped through the masses of flying beasts, sending gruesome remains falling to the ground with sickening sounds. According to the greatest of legends, the nomads who first took up these weapons were imbued with the knowledge of their construction and use. Death was assured to any who would challenge them.

While such weapons' existence was a closely guarded secret, many witnesses over the years have made accounts of battles in which powerful wind magics exploded from an attacker's blade at a critical moment to turn the tide.

Whether this is one of the original weapons or not may never be known.
