- Found on the Street of Alchemists.
- The statue depicts the strident figure of Valas Mortende cradling a thick tome of knowledge in his left arm, his right hand lifted in a frozen stone gesture of appeal. Well known to professional alchemists, Valas published much on the science and campaigned tirelessly for its recognition as a guild.
