Questions

ASK HOST ABOUT FANTASY

A tour host nods and tugs on his sash. "Fantasy Excursions is the group of folks I work for. In time, they hope to charter exotic trips to other destinations. I thought I overheard talk of Meshor at one point, but I know those types of negotiations and finding a safe travel route for our customers can take years to finalize. I'd love to see more of the world, though, and Fantasy Excursions is an excellent means to do so!"

ASK HOST ABOUT EXCURSIONS

A tour host nods and tugs on his sash. "Fantasy Excursions is the group of folks I work for. In time, they hope to charter exotic trips to other destinations. I thought I overheard talk of Meshor at one point, but I know those types of negotiations and finding a safe travel route for our customers can take years to finalize. I'd love to see more of the world, though, and Fantasy Excursions is an excellent means to do so!"

ASK HOST ABOUT HUNTING

A tour host says, "Taisidon is home to many incredible, exotic beasts. It's what made the island an ideal target for the Safari. Fantasy Excursions discontinued their Safari packages for many years, and only recently started to return. There are many new creatures inhabiting the island now! I think I have a card here somewhere with some of them. Now what did I do with that? Hmm..." He pats himself down and beams as he pulls out a card and shows you:

+----------------------+--------------------------
 * Fantasy Excursions bears no liability for any bodily harm
due to an innaccurate assement of a beast's challenge rating.
Our employees are primarily explorers and merchants, not
analytical Barbarians with an insatiable thirst for blood.
** Mimics are a curious case and their rating difficult to
assess. They are known to take on the likeness of random
opponents, and thus their skill can vary wildly. Proceed
      with extreme caution.
*** The S'Kra Kor are known to invade the town from time to time,
but cannot commonly be found at will. Their skills can vary,
depending on villagers, warriors or shamans. Use caution.
**** Treasure goblins, trolls, bandits and other foul pests are
prone to visiting the town from time to time. Often they
are spotted before escaping and will defend their sack of
stolen goods. ALL adventurers are encouraged to stop them,
regardless of skill or talent. Empaths take heed, do not harm
      the living.

Note: The S'Kra Kor information is out of date, as there is now a hunting area exclusively for them.

Note: Fantasy Excursions reserves the right to open or close any merchant at any time without
prior notice based on private negotiations and needs of individual merchants. Likewise,
merchants not listed may visit at their own discretion. Such occurrences may cause this list
to be incomplete, inaccurate or otherwise not perfect. We hope you understand.

Note: This sign is also outdated.

ASK HOST ABOUT EXPLORING

A tour host beams! "There's so much to see and do here! The tree that's prone to being brought down and the bodies of those who've fallen from it to search is one of my favorites to send people in search of. From time to time, there may be a hidden merchant for those in the know. The paguur's just outside of town can be quite annoying to first time visitors, but of course I hope you'll take the time to play with them! Flehni and Bombato run raffles, and sometimes Jisi coordinates with the Estate Holder Council to make special appearances for us as well! There are pearls to dive for and claim from the oysters all over the island, and fishing too for that matter! There are slot machines and rat racing on The Gilded Wave, Spencer and his friends visit with their games, and just so much more!"

A tour host smiles and concludes, "Don't just sit here in town, I beg you! Gather some friends and go out and explore the island! See everything that you can and make the best of the time that you have!"

ASK HOST ABOUT RAFFLES

A tour host says, "Ayup! Flehni and Bombato are contracted to run a single raffle per visit. Their tickets go on sale almost immediately as soon as the moongates open, and the drawing happens on the final day. There's time to collect prizes if you aren't present, but don't let them sit too long! If the moongates close, we may not be able to deliver your prize!"

ASK HOST ABOUT GAMES

A tour host chuckles. "Spencer is the excited one that folks remember most. He's the lad that runs the fish grabbing! There's the old lady that does apple bobbing and the Halfling lass that does the ring toss, I believe. There's a high striker, pinning the ears on the goblins, pinning the paw on the leucro and sometimes a beetle grabbing game. We've also got slot machines and rat racing on The Gilded Wave, and sometimes you can try your chance at the Darkbox." He shudders. "I lost my hand the first time I tried and decided it wasn't for me."

ASK HOST ABOUT ALTERATIONS

A tour host winces. "Regretfully, Mylin is unable to offer her usual services during excursion. Fantasy Excursions was unable to secure the contract for necessary assistants in time, but we do hope you enjoy the many other attractions and opportunities the island has to offer. Who knows -- perhaps a merchant will decide to take advantage of the crowds and do a little altering!"

ASK HOST ABOUT TREASURE

A tour host smiles. "Taisidon has much to see, and not all treasures are those we brought with the merchants and games of Fantasy Excursions. There are corpses to search, creatures with incredible gems and flowers from their nests and homes, great riches from the treasure goblins, bandits and other beasts that attack the town, and even the S'Kra Kor may have a special item every now and then. Don't forget the pearls from the oysters, either."

A tour host scratches his head and says, "You know, I think you should really just explore around and check out everything you can. Ask your friends odds are they found something new and exciting that you may have missed!"

ASK HOST ABOUT TREE

A tour host looks serious as he leans in and says, "Take a hatchet with you, or a sharp edged weapon of some kind, at least. That thing is sturbborn and may do quite a bit of damage to your weapon of choice! Last I heard, it was still standing! Go CUT it down and see what's on the other side!"

ASK HOST ABOUT S'KRA / KOR

A tour host frowns and looks around suspiciously. "They think they own the island. They want to claim the village and all else nearby as their own. Fantasy Excursions has taken some minor precautions to protect those now living here, but the S'Kra Kor are determined at times." He harumphs and adds, "Surprising, considering they're an inferior and unenlightened group compared to their S'Kra Mur cousins. I'm not an expert, of course."

ASK HOST ABOUT MOONGATES

A tour host gestures back towards the east and says, "Out the eastern gate of town, along the shore is where you'll find The Gilded Wave. There are games and some minor shopping to be had there, but the moongate back to where you came from can be found there, too."

ASK HOST ABOUT TIME

A tour host says, "There's still a bit of time if you're here talking to me, I suppose." He pauses to glance up at the sky and says, "I reckon we'll be winding down a few days from now."
[The agents outside the event that allow returns will go away at Mon Aug 8 01:32:41 ET 2016. However, if you still have time while at the Safari, you'll be able to stay until it expires.]
