Nadigo grins, "I am an Empath. Empaths are the healers of life, and help Clerics in their battle against the undead. While Clerics take offense to the soulless undead, Empaths strive against the unlife which many undead possess.

~ Interesting. I never saw Empaths having much of a link with the undead. Either in lore or in mechanics. Indeed, Empaths will attain shock by harming an undead.

Any thoughts?

Looks like a rogue NPC; that's inconsistent with Empath lore. Empaths don't have any particular link with the undead. (Although there is a link with empathy and necromancy.) --Isharon 21:47, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
