Main Showroom
[Sumptuous Silks, Main Showroom]
The walls of this octagonal room are covered with eight panels of thick rice paper, held in place by bamboo frames. Thousands of folds made into each piece of paper create a hazy visual effect in the masterful paintings of sunset upon the Lake of Tears, rendered in vivid watercolors. A dramatic marbled gaethzen orb hangs overhead, reflected by the polished metal of the dome above. Mannequins are arranged neatly around the area.
You also see a carved alabaster pedestal with a black velvet hand on it, a silk-draped doorway, a steel doorway and a large sign.
Obvious exits: none.
A large sign reads: We have recently been able to change suppliers and have new wares to offer the public. You will also note that some of our garments have new abilities and are no longer quite as limited as they have been in the past. Enjoy! |

Bamboo Room
[Sumptuous Silks, Bamboo Room]
Long strips of bamboo cover the walls and frame the doorway in and out of this room. Layers of reed and cork mats line the floor here, in an apparent effort to create a quiet atmosphere. Arranged neatly around the room are some dragonwood mannequins with a marble pedestal in the center and a lacquered rack standing along one wall. A dramatic marbled gaethzen orb hangs overhead, the pale glow illuminating everything with soft light.
Obvious exits: none.
