Sharlir was an important figure in Rakash society at the time of the undead invasion by Lyras, helping to raise the Great Barrier. During the creation of the Barrier, she was killed by undead and became one of them.
Methesdred was her husband. Vael blames himself for her death.
Sharlir makes a brief return to players who venture on the quest Beyond the Barrier: The Devastation of Lyras as a member of Lyras' undead army.
