Description
The color of the space between the stars, the shadow master appears vaguely skeletal, displaying not only ribs but a skull-like head. Though the master is ever-shifting and apparently incorporeal, several distinctive features stand out, such as the lack of a lower jaw and the gleaming double row of solid-looking ivory fangs. Even more prominent are the sabre-length talons it wields on the ends of its wispy, black arms.
In Depth
A shadow creature that occasionally invades areas, but is more commonly summoned by Moon Mages using the Devourer enchantment.
Special Attacks
Shadow Masters use Dinazen Olkar and Crystal Spike. They can also split into frail darkened silhouettes when attacked with a weapon as well as summon Umbramagi, Shadefield Eviscerators, and the lesser form of Voidspawn.
Weaknesses
It is harmed by most Lunar magic and certain light-based spells (such as Divine Radiance) but are healed by shadow-based magic such as Dinazen Olkar.
Bugs
A lot of light-based spells that should work (like Halo) are buggy and do not affect them. They are flagged as a cursed creature due to a combat system limitation; to compensate they have been made immune to nearly all non-light-based Holy spells, though Bless and Defensive spells still function normally.
