Which is exactly correct. One thing that will be changing is that in -most- cases the last maneuver modifications will only last as long as (or only slightly longer) than the roundtime for that maneuver itself -- ie no more perma-LUNGE penalty until you do something else. The lunge penalties will last until the lunge roundtime is over, or perhaps a few seconds longer, but certainly nothing like we have now. Dodge/PARRY and similar defensive maneuvers will be the exception, and will last until you leave them.

Right now, yes. I am going to look at ways to make BLOCK work similar to Dodge/Parry on all levels, and it is possible that a few of the non-damaging brawling moves like BOB or WEAVE may work in a similar way. Not sure yet, but it's possible since they involve participating in combat only halfway -- ie you are certainly moving around a lot, but you aren't trying to both defend and attack at the same time. In exchange for forgoing an attack, there should be some benefits.
