"Cauess a physical shock" and "Causes damage" do not need to go hand in hand. Either due to abstracting it away in the system (Branch Break), or as part of the description of the spell (a theoretical Moon Mage or Necromancer spell that immobilizes the target with phantom pain). At the moment, the interpretation I'm living with is that directly causing serious pain is enough to trigger Shock-with-the-big-S. If that changes, I'll be happy to update the spells' status accordingly. | |
