This wasn't functioning the way it was supposed to be. Subscribers' hidden items absolutely should have been hidden; it was the free folks' items that should remain visible (even with a hider) unless the pass was active. We know there are a lot of good players who would love to help out, but the mentors, hosts and GMs have special tools and training that make assisting the new folks easier, without it being so overwhelmingly noisy that it's unusable.
