Ok I redid the test with the 3rd method. I only did each test once due to the amount of time involved.

This is with 625 ranks in Arcana, 65 int, 62 wis.

I assume the places where the amount of exp gained is .0001 less than expected(4, 6 and 15 mana) is due to rounding that we don't see past the 4th decimal place. I redid a few of those points and ended up with the expected amounts except at 15 mana, I got the same result there twice.

So the % increase in exp from 11 to 144 mana is 153.33% and the % increase in mana is 1200%. Better results than the rub test gave but I still find the reward lacking for the mana and time investment. There is actually a doubling of exp gained post 11 mana, somewhere between 50 and 100 mana. I didn't take the time to figure that out. Charging at 144 mana gives a 66 second roundtime at 625 Arcana.
