>>How about more on G'nar Peth then? Dothrein said some interesting stuff that's up on Elanthipedia, but it's from 2001. Was/is G'nar an entity? An idea? Mortal?

Yes?

>>Perhaps related: The term "Children of Grazhir" implies a distinction. Is the distinction between Elanthian seers and Elanthian non-seers, or is it broader than that? For example, in the first instance, one could interpret "Children" as a reference to all Elanthians, and "Children of Grazhir" as a reference to those with a connection to the plane of probability. In the second instance, all Elanthians could be the interpreted meaning of "Children of Grazhir," while races on some other crazy planet are "Children of Jabberwocky."

Children of Grazhir is an archaic term for prophets (Note: I would say lunar magicians here, but with traders getting lunar magic in the near future I need to clean up my terminology. Traders would not qualify).

>>My thought was that there is no way [Taramaine] could maintain his position otherwise (due to intra-sect power struggles or external politics).

Keep in mind he's a Braun. That's like being a Kennedy.

>>Who is the guild's most gifted "interpreter" in contemporary times? If a vision has to be interepreted by midnight or the Dragon wakes up, who does the guild call?

I don't know that there's one singular answer for this - the study of prophecy is a vast and important one to the guild. Many mages dedicate their lives to understanding, cataloging, recording and interpreting predictions. If I had to take a stab in the dark I'd say Lomtaun has the most experience with prophecy among the Guildleaders (He's easily the oldest), but he's just one man and their are other powerful seer's with less demands on their time. There are entire branches of the Compact and Heritage House (in particular) that deal with prediction research exclusively.

>>I wasn't playing a moon mage during those events, but the Y'shai have always been interesting to me. Maybe I'm misremembering but I thought Kreich was around more recently too (last 4 years or so) and was causing some tension because of his disagreement with Kssarh (or someone official) about pursuing the Children.

If it was, that's before my time and I have no recording of it. Are you thinking of Daldruk?

>>Are there factions within the guild that are sympathetic to the Children, or is support for Karosti basically equivalent to support for the guild's destruction?

Not really, no. There are certainly players who are sympathetic towards them, but this doesn't reflect the guild at large. They are, literally, terrorists and views on how to handle them are divergent but it's really a "with us" or "against us" deal.
