| Look: | Silvery, luminescent inclusions in each cleverly carved segment add jagged stripes down the dark body. Paired yellow jade legs spring from each shadowed gemstone, their glossy vibrancy only challenged by the intense red hue of the head and piercing pincer jaws. The rich blood hue of the ruby attenuates to a plasma yellow at the edges, visible on the carved beads forming the antennae. When viewed from below, the tiny gears and links that articulate the arthropod's body are just barely visible. |

- WEAR: As you set the riftstone centipede against your shoulder, the numerous legs grip tightly to you, holding it in place.
- POKE: You surreptitiously touch a small lever below the riftstone centipede and it stirs to a semblance of life, snatching at empty air with its wickedly pointed ruby jaws.
- PUSH: You gently push a minuscule button on your riftstone centipede and it winds itself into a ball, its body weaving about itself in an endless knot from which its legs and feelers peek out periodically. Effortlessly, it unknots itself and settles back, immobile but for one idly waving antenna.
- PULL: Moving subtly, you tilt your riftstone centipede, causing an internal gear to catch. The riftstone creature scurries about for several moments with undulating, blurred motions of its saffron yellow, jointed legs, tracing small patterns as if scribing sigils with its dark body.
- TURN: You twist a small gear underneath your riftstone centipede, which starts to move forward but quickly arches its back, curling into a tight spiral as it continues walking over itself. Its copious legs protrude from the sides of the black coil, wiggling freely, until the creature unwinds itself to settle back into a resting position.
- REMOVE: The riftstone centipede's many legs release their grip upon you, allowing you to pull the mechanical creature free.
