iroko-framed shaman's bodhran with coralite-caught thin pigskin drumheads | |
---|---|
Look: | The frame of the ceremonial drum is carved with a repeating pattern of herons in flight, the wood showcasing richly variegated browns tessellated around empty, bird-shaped air. Coralite claws secure the drumheads to the woolen sides of the drum, the lurid pink metal shaped into prostrate porcine forms glittering with gold inclusions. The interior of the small container is spartan and devoid of any obvious pleasures for its piggy residents. |
