The Gilded Wave is a ship which hosts a souvenir shop, a bank and some games during the Taisidon Safari quest.
[The Gilded Wave, Aft Deck]
Carved deobar railings decorated with gilded waves line the deck. Overhead an awning provides shelter for the crew to relax under. The captain, who is sitting in an ebonwood chair inlaid with bits of shell and carved with flowers, watches five of the Halfling crewmen play a game of cards. Hanging from the ship's wheel is a wine flask. Forward access is provided by two walkways that lead around the main cabin. The sound of waves provides a contrast to the calls of the crewmen.
Obvious paths: north.
[The Gilded Wave, Fore Deck]
Deobar railings decorated with gilded separate the polished ebonwood deck from the sea. Rising from the central cabin is the ship's tall ironwood mast, standing with sails furled. Access aft is provided by a pair of narrow walkways leading around the cabin, while a locked deobar gate blocks further forward progress. You also see a staircase, the Taisidon docks and a shimmering moongate.
Obvious paths: south.
- NOTE: The moongate is how you travel from the normal game to the quest area.
[The Gilded Wave, Main Lounge]
The silverwood wall panels are covered in fine sea foam-colored silks. Around the room are couches decorated with carved motifs of shells and covered in dark blue brocade. Cedar tables, with chairs of ebonwood inlaid with bits of shell and covered in leather, are available for people to meet, taking up much of the remaining space. The silver candleholders are all shaped like deobar trees. You also see a staircase and a silverwood door.
Obvious exits: north.
[The Gilded Wave, Purser's Office]
A large maple desk decorated with carved yaks and inlaid with the seal of the Riverhaven Traders' Guild fills the office. Seated at the desk, the purser is sorting notes into the pigeonholes. Through the arch of the next room Moon Mages can be seen holding open a moongate. You also see the exchange rate board, a silverwood door and a neatly painted sign.
Obvious exits: none.
- NOTE: This room operates as the bank area for the quest.
[The Gilded Wave, Vault]
An intricately painted mural depicting each of the moons in all of their phases covers the walls, resting upon a velvety black backdrop bearing fanciful renderings of the constellations. In one corner of the room, a shimmering moongate is blocked off by barricades guarded by large Gor'Togs. You also see a vault sign.
Obvious exits: out.
- NOTE: This room operates as the Estate Holder bank area for the quest. You must be a premium subscriber to enter here.
[The Gilded Wave, Souvenir Shop]
Polished cedar paneling lines the walls, filling the air with its fresh scent. Rich blue banners stitched with golden waves are suspended from the ceiling, just slightly higher than the head of the tallest races. A long counter holding souvenirs stands at one end of the room, next to a black iron spiral stairway. You also see a washtub.
Obvious exits: south.
- NOTE: More information about the goods you can buy here can be found at Gilded Wave Souvenir Shop.
[The Gilded Wave, Hold]
The sound of bells from slot machines echo through the hold, only mildly muffled by billowing blue and gold banners hung around the area. Fine blown glass lanterns hang from the ceiling, lighting the room with a warm glow. You also see a platinum-hued booth, a gold-hued booth, a silver-hued booth, a bronze-hued booth and a black iron spiral stairway.
Obvious exits: south.
- NOTE: The booths in this area contain slot machines.
[The Gilded Wave, Hold]
This section of the ship's hold has been set aside for the personal possessions of the passengers and crew. Trunks and duffel bags have been stacked into large piles and disguised by a large blue piece of cloth. Soft blue banners crafted from the same cloth hang around the area, each stitched with a golden wave.
