A True Bard and hobbyist leatherworker first discovered the means to evoke a mischievously welcome pattern of behavior among the fae creatures that hide in plain sight among us. By calling out with enchanting song and instrumental melody from just outside a tanning shed as common animal hides are being treated within, the lucky lyricist may find their product...changed. Whether the fae exchange one material for another or they work some unique process upon the existing skins is hard to say, for all attempts to catch them in the act have resulted in abject failure.
So named for the glimmering crystalline undulations pervading the leather, it is thought by some that no two patterns are identical due to the bespoke resonance between the spirit of the fae and their connection to subtle variations in every musical performance.
Common Description
