Dwarven Bardic Academy

The Dwarven Bardic Academy was founded in the 7th Century BL, in Kwarlog. The Academy was founded in an attempt to resurrect "the knowledge and beauty of Dwarven song-stories." The first rector was the cleric Glazhn Ofnor, whom launched efforts to recover earlier instruments and texts, while "creating new art to celebrate our continuing accomplishments."

Over the years, the Academy served as a guarantor of Haakish, several times refusing to aid Imperial attempts to create a common language. However, many Haakish words enter into common use in the Empire.
