Her slightly pointed ears, which barely conceal small gills on her neck, are pierced with a multitude of diacan rings along both ridges while metallic dark green silver-limned scales cover her body from head to toe. Her long fingers are slightly webbed.
She is average height for a Merelew.
She appears to be an adult.

She is wearing a shoulder-slung brown leather diplomat's pouch, a one-shouldered dress of red avia clasped with a seashell and a pair of low-heeled black silk slippers.

During the Hollow Eve festivities Cotovatre joined Zipsy's list and, when her turn arrived, was given the title Zeveu av Lehozaetaen, which translates as "friend of drylanders" in Asaran.
