Sraan

Sraan Indakar/Thunder Clan -- Originally from Sarasunath and Zhamikhh Islands, the clan fled to the mainland before the spreading power of the Rathan king. They followed the same path of Sraan Irhhnth for a time, then struck west and eventually settled in a great mountain valley. A large clan even today, they once had the reputation of being rather wild, but they've settled down a great deal and have become more reclusive in nature.

Sraan Mhhg/Serpent Clan -- They once ruled over Zhamikhh Island, but lost control of it to Thunder Clan and chose to migrate to the mainland rather than be absorbed. They had great difficulty finding a new home and suffered several failed attempts. Once they had found a home though, their star rose to shine very brightly indeed. Today, they are one of the more visible clans, involved in commerce and politics. They are justly famous across the lands for their alchemists.

Sraan Irhhnth/Scorpion Clan -- A smaller clan today, they were once one of the most powerful of the Sraan, deeply involved in Sarkhhl's unification of Reshalia, taking a leading role in the Elven-Human war, and siding with Lanival early in his fight. They left for the mainland after a devastating blow to their leadership and wandered for many years before settling in the Velaka desert. They have produced several notable S'Kra historical figures, such as Mhalush and Shorka.

Sraan Smolg/Tail Clan -- The last clan to remain completely upon the islands, they are a rich and proud clan, but have kept quiet in recent years. Their greatest hero is Sarkhhl Smo'neh, who united Reshalia under his banner and founded the line of Rathan kings. They are also a seafaring clan and were closely involved with the Fangs of Ushnish. Very demanding, they still exile those members that don't live up to their high standards.

Sraan Arna/Boulder Clan -- Somewhat xenophobic to outsiders, the clan is actually well known among its peers, as it has long been a major supplier of metals and crafts to the other clans. The clan migrated from Reshalia to Irasushen Island before the time of Sarkhhl and again to the mainland before the Rathan kings came, not fleeing central power, but seeking better deposits of ore. They were the first clan to move entirely to the mainland, becoming an anchor for the others that would follow.

Sraan Rasha/Flower Clan -- This clan has been a nomadic clan of perpetual wanderers for as long as anyone can remember. They have a very relaxed outlook on life, disdaining politics or anyone who takes themselves to seriously. Unconcerned with money or high status, they believe in a simpler lifestyle that doesn't stress material goods. The clan has produced many famous Bards and Rangers.

Sraan Malk/Gold Clan -- Long basing themselves on economic power, the clan is a people of merchants, craftsmen, miners, and traders. They will speculate into any areas they believe they can get a profitable return on, including mercenary work. The clan has spread into many existing cities, following the trade routes that serve them best. They were a close ally of Sarkhhl during the campaign to unite Reshalia, but they have drifted away from Tail Clan since then.

Sraan T'Lar/Drum Clan -- A large and somewhat wild clan of warriors that preserves and cherishes the old ways. Spread out in the gorges and rain forests of the untamed lands southeast of Illithi, they produce exotic alchemical solutions. They once ruled over Pi'Qanah and Irasushen Islands with their long-time allies, Boulder Clan. They retreated to the mainland before the spread of new ideas that came with the Rathan king rather than surrender their established traditions. Many people mistake them as primitive, but they are actually quite sophisticated, they just prefer the old ways.

Sraan Mehath/Wind Clan -- Once the dominant power over Surlaenis, the clan migrated to the mainland following a prophecy. They passed through the territory of Boulder Clan and continued west. Secure in a mountain fortress, they practiced profound and unmatched elemental magics, and were widely considered to be one of the most powerful of the clans. It was wiped out during the Elven-Human war and is now thought of as a clan for the honored afterlife of all S'Kra heroes.

I believe these have all been added - though they're not categorized. Check for articles named the S'Kra Mur name for each of these clans. --Naeya (talk) 01:43, 12 February 2008 (CST)
They should be there. I went through and added them all awhile back, along with some redirects so we wouldn't be duplicating articles. --Porlock 21:13, 12 February 2008 (CST)
Well then! I apologize. I was putting them here so I wouldn't have to dig back through the forums when I started adding them; I couldn't find them at first glance. Perhaps a link somewhere on this article's page would be good. --Diarik 23:26, 12 February 2008 (CST)
