Look:	The broad steel head is engraved with a nightingale and wren perched atop a mailed fist. Closer examination of the etched scene reveals bits of splintered bones surround the pair of birds like a morbid halo. Comically sprawled beneath the fist, as if it had just been knocked flat, is a bone mastiff with wisps of smoke seeping from its gaping jaws and empty eye sockets.
