Description

Vykathi are an infamous race of carnivorous insects. Standing upright on two sturdy legs, their reapers are about Human-sized. Their four clawed arms are ideal for vicious slashing attacks, and their bulky chitinous armor makes them a formidable foe.

Area Information

The Vykathi are an insectoid race that live in an area known as The Hive. A fortress named Chyolvea Tayeu'a was erected over the hive. To get to the fortress you must find the River Camp on a switchback trail in the Dragon Spine Mountains (Map 65) and then RECITE the following:

"Neath the depths of darkness I go
To scape the prying eyes of light.
Under Dragons Spine I crawl
To crawl out from under the Dragons Shadow"

Wait at the camp until a Mountain Elf Ranger leads you to the fortress.

Once you are at the fortress you can only get past the checkpoint to The Hive if you are wearing a triskele medallion or are lead by someone wearing a triskele medallion. The triskele medallion can only be obtained by a Warrior Mage's small familiar within a vent inside the familiars' eating place.
