The Hive

Overview

The Hive is the underground hunting area which Vykathi harvesters, soldiers and reapers spawn. The underground complex is a random maze somewhat similar to the marsh where Blue Belly Crocodiles are known to inhabit.

Entering the Hive can be a bit tricky. The Hive itself is located under the Warrior Mage Fortress down in Ilithi near the gargoyle and snow beast hunting area. You'll have to recite the following passage in order to gain entrance.

Poem to Enter Warrior Mage Fortress

Neath the depths of darkness I go
To 'scape the prying eyes of light
Under Dragon's Spine I crawl
To crawl out from under the Dragon's shadow.

How To Get Inside

Once inside find the Mess Hall (Map 64a). You will need a triskele medallion which can be acquired by a war mage using his familiar to enter a guard room.

If you have a triskele medallion, go corridor, then go arch, go north, then touch the orb and go through the Egress.

If you don't yet have a triskele medallion, go to the mess hall and get one by sending your familiar through the air vent and getting to the guard room. (If you're not a warrior mage, you have to find one to do it for you)
