Despite the GM post from 2002 (https://elanthipedia.play.net/Post:Trader_Guild_Releases_(Very_Long)_-_11/25/2002_-_11:49:18) which says that Charisma improves contract trading, I don't think that Charisma has ''any'' effect on contract prices (and presumably also Trading EXP). |

I wanted to test more to eliminate some of the noise, but a Test server resync threw a wrench in that (because Trading ranks definitely do matter). Regardless, I'm pretty sure that if Charisma had an effect, it would've been obvious with 12 vs 138 CHA even with this amount of testing. |

It's theoretically possible that Charisma has some reasonable impact at lower Trading ranks (this testing done around 1,000 Trading). |

The explanation of charisma's effect on the teaching system is inconsistent with Dart's post here, or at the very least incomplete. If the teacher's charisma improves the student's learning, then it will also improve the teacher's learning. Similarly, the only way for the student's charisma to improve the teacher's learning is for it to improve the student's learning.--Antendren 12:30, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Impact on contract trading
Despite the GM post from 2002 (https://elanthipedia.play.net/Post:Trader_Guild_Releases_(Very_Long)_-_11/25/2002_-_11:49:18) which says that Charisma improves contract trading, I don't think that Charisma has any effect on contract prices (and presumably also Trading EXP).
