Bursts of laughter and excited shouts ring out from a game of dice being played at a corner table. Other tables and chairs are scattered haphazardly through the room, but most of the regulars perch on high stools near the bar. Apparently, the view of the buxom barmaid is more enticing from that angle. You also see the menu.

[Taelbert's Inn, Dining Room]
The spacious dining room is elegant, if slightly frayed at the edges. Faded blue velvet chairs cluster around white linen-covered tables set with fine old silver and occasionally mismatched china. Set between two pillars on the southwest wall, a curtained alcove offers privacy, and to the southeast, soft light spills outward from a quiet corner. You also see the menu, a mahogany door, a polished copperwood counter, and a wide arch.
