Look: Through expert finishing, the heavily lacquered wood retains a faintly sweet aroma. Silver-black metal circumscribing the edge of the shield is worked into the shape of an open hand at regular intervals along the mostly abstract border. At these points, blood-red rubies set around the animite project a soft aura of warm light that enshrouds the design.
