First instinct is unlucky streak. The code here is pretty simple, and basically I just added a catch in the part that would normally say "you fail" that instead says "but if this is a moon or the sun, save a partial success."

I think it's probable that we just don't think a lot of having to try again, once our RT is down to 5s. There's a hard cap on success chance, meaning that if you're not using a telescope, you're going to see the partial success message about 1 time out of 10. (Telescope raises the cap.)

Just to be on the safe side, I added some additional debug and blew through a ton of predictions in development and the results look like what I would expect.

As a consolation, if you receive a partial success at high skill, it's extremely likely that you're getting over 90% of the award.

>Anyone know if that can be trained off, or is that the new min?

You can train down RT to 5 under any circumstances still. Because the RT calculation is pretty dumb, however, the only way to do that currently is by getting more circles or use more PG. That's one of the many things on "the list."

We'd like to see Astrology pull more of the weight in situations like this (and elsewhere.)
