| The Temple's official stance is that the Immortals are the only true gods, and any other deity is either a cultural corruption of the Immortals, a demon masquerading as a god or otherwise some lesser spirit.
This is by no means a universally accepted idea and is at the heart of what is probably the most controversial bit of internal politicking the Temple deals with today. | |
