Description

Standing taller than a Gor'Tog, the Torbisan decapod is the embodiment of an abyssal nightmare. Twin pairs of eyestalks constantly twitch around, scanning in all directions, and brilliantly iridescent bands zigzag down the creature's nacreous torso. The decapod bears two enormous clublike arms in a folded position, and a series of churning mouthparts are ready to cut, shred, and tear any defeated prey.

Recall

The Merelew talk of this tidal horror in hushed whispers, a creature whose aggression and deadliness defy exaggeration. The Torbisan decapod can survive short forays on land, where it is known for bringing down larger prey that stray too close to the Rissan shore, and dragging them back to its sandy burrows. Its clublike arms are able to strike with such force that the internal organs of most victims are almost entirely liquefied. The decapod is extremely territorial, and recent destruction of the seafloor has only increased this behavior!
