Verbs

You think you can interact with the clockwork frigate in the following ways: WAVE, RUB, SHAKE, SALUTE, EXHALE, TURN, and POINT (at a target).

  • WAVE: You wave your clockwork frigate up and down as you move it forward through the air, as if it is rocking on the ocean.
  • RUB: You check the riggings of your clockwork frigate, then smile in satisfaction. Ship shape!
  • SHAKE: You shake your clockwork frigate violently, cackling maniacally. That'll show that slacker crew!
  • SALUTE: You jauntily salute the figure standing at the wheel on your clockwork frigate.
  • EXHALE: You exhale into the sails of your clockwork frigate, filling them.
  • TURN: You wind the rudder of your clockwork frigate and gently put it down. It rolls forward as several crew members circle the main deck, swords raised. As the frigate slows to a halt, you quickly scoop it up.
  • POINT (hit): You load the mangonel of your clockwork frigate with a tiny dirt ball from a hatch on the side of the frigate and take aim at your target, then fire, scoring a direct hit! The ball breaks up upon impact with <target>.
